Australia romped home to victory by 8 wickets in that encounter.
The man of the match on that occasion, Shane Warne with figures of

It has been anohter day that went up and down

Match State: Stumps - Day 2

Welcome to the third day's play of the game between India A and
Australia at the VCA in Nagpur
Matthew Hayden and Justin Langer will start the proceedings for
Australia against an India A attack looking to make early inroads
The two umpires BK Sadashiv and SV Ramani are the first onto the
field. They busily go about adjusting the wickets and setting the
        bails right.
The India A team is now onto the field as well and a few feet
behind them Hayuden and Langer walk in, twirling their bats and
doing some mile loosening up exercises
Langer marks his guard and practices a straight drive, maybe we'll
see a few of thos today
For India A, it is the man who took all 10 wickets in an innings in
a Duleep Trophy match recently - Debashish Mohanty to start the
        bowling
8.1 Mohanty to Langer, no run, full and outside the off, no sign of
swing or seam first up, the ball shoots low and goes through to
the keeper as Langer leaves it alone
8.2 Mohanty to Langer, no run, a repeat of the first ball, fortunately
for the batsman a bit more bounce this time, once again left alone
        with ease
8.3 Mohanty to Langer, no run, the third one outside the off and a hint
of swing, left alone to the keeper
8.4 Mohanty to Langer, no run, Mohanty decides to make the batsman play
and deliver this one on the off stump, defended back down the
        wicket with care
8.5 Mohanty to Langer, no run, once again too wide, this time it's
short as well, the ball goes ever so slowly to the 'keeper
8.6 Mohanty to Langer, no run, on the pads to end the over and full as
well, tapped to the on side

End of over 9 (1 run, maiden) Australia 39/1 (trail by 38 runs)
DS Mohanty 3-1-7-0
ML Hayden 20* (21b 2x4) JL Langer 0* (8b)

9.1 Nehra to Hayden, one run, full and down the leg side, a bit of
inswing straight away for Nehra, that was just a loosener, tucked
        away to fine leg
9.2 Nehra to Langer, no run, full and very wide of the stumps, this one
swings the other way, very late, and leaves the left hander,
unfortunately the ball goes so low that even an edge would never
carry to the keeper, left alone ever so easily
9.3 Nehra to Langer, no run, full and on the off stump, Langer is too
patient to make a mistake so early on, defended with a bat so
straight it couldn't possibly get straighter
9.4 Nehra to Langer, no run, this one is fired down the leg side,,
again very low bounce, rapped on the pad, meaningless shout for
        lbw is dismissed nonchalantly
9.5 Nehra to Langer, one run, on the pads and there's a bit of bounce,
that makes it weasy for Langer to come outside the line of the
ball and turn it awqy ever so deftly to fine leg
9.6 Nehra to Hayden, no run, on the off and swinging away a touch, the
well built southpaw Hayden taps the ball to point with an angled
        bat

10.1 Mohanty to Langer, FOUR, full and outside the off stump, so slow
that it would be hard for a batsman of Langer's pedigree not to
hit that for four, driven beautifully to mid off where Balaji Rao
makes a hash of things and lets the ball rocket to the fence
        through his legs
10.2 Mohanty to Langer, no run, full and just outside the off stump,
rapped on the pads, that was well outside the off and slanting
further away so there really was no danger in padding that one
        away
10.3 Mohanty to Langer, no run, full and on the off stump, bat and pad
come close together like any coach would recommend and the ball is
dabbed to the off side with soft hands
10.4 Mohanty to Langer, no run, once again Mohanty keeps it in that slot
just outside the off stump and once more Langer is content just
defending and getting a feel of the ball, the bowler and the
        conditions
10.5 Mohanty to Langer, no run, shorter this time, in another five
Langer might crash that to the point fence, right now he is
content just patting the ball to point
10.6 Mohanty to Langer, no run, full and on the off again that is a
better line and length from Mohanty, played down the track with
the bat maker's label, ot r should that be sponsor's label, clear
        for all to see

11.1 Nehra to Hayden, no run, full and drifting onto the pads, clipped
away to the on side, Hayden closes the face of the bat on that
very quickly, could be a bad ploy
11.2 Nehra to Hayden, no run, full and on the off, patted to mid off,
well in control is Hayden, no hurrying him today it looks
11.3 Nehra to Hayden, no run, much better ball from Nehra, just short of
a driving length, the ball starts six inches outside the left
hander's off stump and shapes in just enough to make the batsman
        defend
11.4 Nehra to Hayden, no run, full and this time n the off, the drift,
swing and angle take the ball down leg side, rapped on the pads,
no appeal even, that's how far down lweg side that ball was headed
11.5 Nehra to Hayden, no run, faster one on the off stump, not much
movement here, just enough to go off the inside edge onto the pad,
appeals from all round thinking the ball hit the pad first, umpire
        not interested
11.6 Nehra to Hayden, no run, outside the off, pushed hard but straight
to the fielder at mid off, that's the end of an Ashish Nehra

12.1 Mohanty to Langer, no run, short of a length and outside the off,
the flailing windmill Mohanty action generates very little pace on
this wicket, no movement either for the Orissa mediumpacer, left
alone with ease, no doubt at all in Langer's mind, that one is not
        coming back in
12.2 Mohanty to Langer, no run, full and on the pads, tucked away nicely
to midwicket, a lack of an early call means that the batsmen can't
        take a single
12.3 Mohanty to Langer, one run, again on the pads, clipped to square
leg, this time the ball is wide of the fielder and the call comes
        early, comfortable single

13.5 Nehra to Langer, no run, short of a length and on the off stump,
tapped to the off side off the back foot, no chance of a run there
13.6 Nehra to Langer, no run, short of a length and on the off stump,
played to the off side with soft hands, Langer looks like he has
set his stalls in for a long innings, Nehra too is keeping a good
line and length, interesting little battle

14.1 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, again slow and on the off side, Mohanty
looks like the only way he'll get a wicket is if the ball shoots
low and the batsman is bowled or lbw, defended easily
14.2 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, on the pads this time, Hayden trieds to
turn the ball to the onside plays down the wrong line and is
        rapped on the pads
14.3 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, full and on the middle stump, Hayden
stands tall and punches the ball to the mid on fielder
14.4 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, on the off stump and finally a bit of
inswing, Hayden rapped on the pads, not far foward, loud shout and
not a very bad one at that, loud shout from the bowler, turned
        down
14.5 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, full and on the off, driven hard into
the pitch, the ball bounces high and goes back to Mohanty who
collects the ball in his followthrough
14.6 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, full and on the off, defended with bat

15.2 Nehra to Langer, no run, full and on the pads, Langer gets bat and
pad together, forming a wall almost and defends
15.3 Nehra to Langer, no run, full and on the off, driven to mid off
15.4 Nehra to Langer, no run, good late inswing for Nehra, the ball
starts wide of the stumps and comes back in, defended to the on
        side with an angled bat
15.5 Nehra to Langer, no run, short of a length this time, played back
down the track with soft hands, Langer might want to come forward

        enough
16.4 Mohanty to Hayden, no run
16.5 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, full and on the off, driven hard to

16.6 Mohanty to Hayden, FOUR, full and on the off, impressive transfer
of weight from Hayden, after waiting patiently for so long Hayden

        and more loose balls
17.2 Nehra to Langer, no run, full and on the off stump, defended
17.3 Nehra to Langer, no run, once again a bit of late swing into the
pads, tapped to the on side
17.4 Nehra to Langer, no run, on the off stump, short of a length, not
much bounce, the ball swings in and Langer plays outside the line
of the ball, rapped on the pads, that was a good shout but
probably slipping down the leg side
17.5 Nehra to Langer, no run, full and on the off this time, the ball
doesn't swing, defended to the off side
17.6 Nehra to Langer, no run, outside the off stump, this time Nehra

to make any contact with the ball whatsoever
18.2 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, fulll and on the off, driven to mid off
where Balaji Rao manages to save one
18.3 Mohanty to Hayden, no run, on the pads, played softly back to the

18.4 Mohanty to Hayden, one run, just short of driving length on the off

        stolen
18.5 Mohanty to Langer, no run
18.6 Mohanty to Langer, no run, short of a length and on the off, that's

19.3 Nehra to Langer, no run, full and on the off stump this time,

19.5 Nehra to Langer, no run, slow and on the off, that could have been

        of the wicket, defends carefully
19.6 Nehra to Langer, no run, outside the off, a bit of width and
