I have done well, rest is upto the selectors: Sanghvi

Rahul Sanghvi was the pick of the India A bowlers today. The left arm spinner from Delhi finished with five wickets. After the day's play, he spoke to CricInfo.

Q: How was bowling today on the Nagpur wicket?

A: Well, I was happy with my bowling. It was a slow wicket, it had a bit of turn and I liked the way I bowled. I was bowling a good line and flighting the ball, tossing it up. I am happy with my performance.

Q: You did well against the Australians in Sharjah two years back and you did well today as well. What are your views?

A: I don't think there is any link between Sharjah and right now because I played two years back. I was out of the scene since then and I worked hard and made a comeback so there is no link. It's a totally different ball game. I mean it's a three day game and that was a one day game but yeah, I think I have been bowling well and probably that's why I am getting good results.

Q: How do you see yourself, a One Day bowler or a Test bowler?

A: I think a good ball is a good ball in any form of the game. Actually that's true in any kind of cricket. I don't think I am limited that way, a good bowler can do well either way.

Q: Do you think you have made an impact on the selectors?

A: Well I don't know. It's up to them. I have done well and I am happy with my performance. The rest is up to them.
