CONNECTICUT defeats NEW YORK in TRI-State
Advance notice: Connecticut defeated New York in their scheduled Tri-State Cup tournament fixture on Saturday, September 6, 2003.
We shall publish details of the match as soon as they are available. Meanwhile, here is a report from a spectator at the event.
" I was a huge skeptic of MLC, but what I saw on Saturday has really made me sit up and take notice of these guys. ... Not only was it a great day for cricket, with Connecticut walloping New Yorks's 'mighty ego' to shreds. Connecticut was in charge from the word go. Connecticut, guys you rock.
"And the place, man, it looked like county cricket match.With tents, drinks, food, banners I've seen many matches, but this was different.
And I couldn't believe that at the end of the game they gave all the players, officials goody bags in a proper ceremony! They even had stuff for the spectators."
